As of the 2010 census, a total of 9,052 civilians reside within Vermont's Washington-3 state house district. Vermont's state representatives represent an average of 4,172 residents. After the 2000 Census, each member represented 4,059 residents.
Members of the Vermont House of Representatives serve two-year terms and are not subject to term limits. Vermont legislators assume office the first Wednesday after the first Tuesday in January.
