In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Transportation: As a representative of a district only serviced by buses, I prioritize bus service improvements across NYC. Overall, I support efforts to increase MTA funding with a focus on directing a portion of those funds for outer-borough transit improvements. Criminal Justice Reform: As a member of the Assembly's Corrections Committee, I support legislation to improve conditions for women inmates in correctional facilities. This includes legislation I sponsor to ban the use of solitary confinement for pregnant inmates.Worker's Rights: I have introduced bills covering anti-discrimination and sexual harassment prevention in the workplace, flexible working arrangements, and predictable scheduling practices.
