Legislative Priorities

In the following area, on an attached page, or via e-mail, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- The State should follow the law enacted in 2004 and fund locale education at 55%.Maine needs to remove itself from ISO New England and find a way to import low cost electricity from Hydro Quebec. With lower energy costs we would be able to attract new businesses that would provide jobs. Without good jobs the mass exodus of our children will continue, and without young people entering our work force we continue to place higher and higher tax burdens on our seniors that are living on fixed incomes.
