He earned a high school diploma from West Mesa High School, an associate degree from Central New Mexico Community College in 2018, and a bachelor's degree from Lewis University in 2021. Mora's career experience includes working as a business owner. As of 2024, he was affiliated with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Business Coalition of New Mexico.
