Legislative Priorities

- My top priorities if elected is health care reform and continue to work with Governor Douglas to reform the Act 250 process. Health care in Vermont has seen mandates chase insurance companies out of Vermont. I believe that we must try to bring competition back to the health insurance industry. The Act 250 appeals process must be changed so that any business or individual will know within a year if they can proceed with a project.
