- I have been married to a card carrying member of the NRA for 45 years. He has never had a army style rifle or the huge magazines. He is a sport shooter and a hunter. I and our children have learned about gun safety and how guns are to be used from him. I follow his lead on the gun issues. Common sense is the best way.

- My main goal in the Legislature is to get fair treatment for all North Dakotans. We have a great state and it should be that way for all residents. We need to educate our children, and create jobs in ND to keep them here.
