John A. Torbett is a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 108. Torbett is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.
Torbett has been the Vice President of North Carolina Operations for Defense Technologies, Inc. since 2003. He previously worked as a layout specialist and CEO of Corrugated Converting. Torbett served as a Gaston County Commissioner from 2002 to 2010.
