John Jackson (United Utah Party) was a candidate who sought election to the Utah State Senate to represent District 8. Jackson lost the general election on November 6, 2018.
Jackson was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 44 of the Utah House of Representatives. He ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012 and 2014.
Jackson was removed from the 2016 candidate list when he did not receive the necessary delegates in the Democratic convention.
