- Our education system has more than enough funding to operate effectively. We don?t need 55 BOE offices throughout our state. I propose that we cut the offices down to about 10-15 regional BOE offices to handle the administrative duties for all counties. All while keeping the 5 elected BOE officials in each county so that the local voice is kept. This would allow us to give our teachers a salary suitable for their position and properly fund their insurance and pensions.
