- We need tax reform to eliminate many of the 13 billion dollars in tax expenditures to create the revenue needed to fully fund pensions and increase investments in education from cradle to grave. Tax reform can not hurt the middle or poor like the last round did. Done right, the wealthy can benefit from the increased economic activity a healthier and wealthier KY will have. Done right, it will also increase our pool of qualified workers we so desperately need to fill the many vacant positions KY employers currently have.
