Legislative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 75 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- I am alarmed by this legislature's extreme agendas. I am concerned that inflexible adherence to the dictates of political caucuses short-changes citizens. I will press to restore civility to the legislature. My principal focus is education excellence. The $185 million this legislature slashed from the education budget is devastating to our children today and to our economy tomorrow. Addressing impending gridlock on our roadways is also high on my agenda.
