2. Instituting mandatory furloughs AND/OR layoffs for state employees?
- No
3. Reducing benefits for Medicaid recipients?

5. Other or expanded principles
- We believe that Oregon's tax code needs to be more progressive. Low and middle earners have sen their share of taxes increase, while wages have remained stagnant. We should not be stabilizing the budget at the expense of working families.

8. Other or expanded principles
- We believe the Oregon income tax lacks a sufficient amount of progressivity. Low and middle income earners continue to see their tax burden increase without a real increase in wages. I would like to see additional tax brackets, and to shift the burden of Oregon's income tax. I am also supportive of tax incentives for businesses to encourage economic growth, so long as those businesses are providing a fair shot to their workers.

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Our top priorities are:Support policies that support working familiesFunding Public Education, and improving access to Career and Technical Education (see revenue note below)Improving Infrastructure in our district (see revenue note below)
We believe that Oregon has not lived up to its obligation to fund public education, and we need to fundamentally reshape our income tax code (additional brackets, additional progressivity) and closing gaps that allow some profitable corporations in our state to pay little to no taxes. We must also make our government operate more efficiently, and identify wasteful spending.
