In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- My top legislative priority is restoring the funding to our public education system including community colleges and state universities. We need to take a hard look at our state budget funding priorities and figure out how to restore the funding to education.
My second priority is fixing the 100 day funding rule for special education students so that their funding follows the student throughout the school year and moves with them when they return to district public schools.
