Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- First, I would like to work on eliminating the Michigan Income Tax. There are other states which function with no state income tax, so why can't we? I would make up the budget shortfall by reducing and eliminating some budget expenditures. Second, I would like to work to reduce auto insurance rates in Michigan. We need to eliminate the Michigan no-fault law, and institute more choices to the motorist to help reduce auto insurance rates. Third, I would like to make it administratively easier to start new businesses in Michigan through deregulation.
