- Let us not ever forget what the purpose of the 'Sin Tax' is. It is used to dissuade people from using products that they deem unhealthy. Tobacco, Alcohol, and most recently Gasoline are the targets. California has the highest gasoline taxes in the country due to the environmental lobby who desires to reduce driving. This adversely affects the poor as it impacts their ability to drive to work. It is time for an end to the 'haves' subsidizing the 'have nots.' Fairness and equality can never be achieved by treating one segment of society different from the others.

I also feel that term limits are a violation as well...if an elected official is doing a great job, why should the People be denied an opportunity to vote them in again. Voter verification through a photo ID is just common sense. This system is rife with corruption.

- I would like the list of capital offenses increased to include rape and child molestation While I support prison detoxification and rehabilition, if arrested, I believe that drug manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and pushers should be subject to the death penalty as they are accessories before and after the fact for every drug murder in the world. They should not profit for enslaving our children.

Again, business itself can set it's own prevailing wage. It is a government tool to legally bribe voters. Who wouldn't vote for someone who is giving them more money. I also feel the same way about tenants voting on rent control issues. They will always vote against their landlord raising their rent

As citizens, we live on a budget and can only make cuts to afford items as we don't have the ability to raise taxes. Our leaders should run our state the same way.
