Priority Issues:
1. I believe in limited government, there should be definite lines between state and federal government. The federal government has been doing what the states should be doing thus causing more problems and deficit spending. Our federal government thinks that the same shoe will fit everyone and too often they are over ruling states decisions. If the federal government wants to control it all, why do we even have state governments?
2. I believe in limited entitlements and those who can work should work. No government program has the ability to allow someone to prosper and was not intended to do so but to be used only as a short-term aid during times of hardship. People need to actively look for and accept any job available until something better comes along. I also support welfare to work legislation.
3. I believe that those who enter this country illegally should be not be given unconditional amnesty and if they wish to be a citizen, they should bring some skill with them. They should also not be able to get tax breaks or special treatment. Anyone who commits a crime in the U.S. before becoming a citizen forfeits their ability to become a citizen.
4. I believe our military must have better funding; right now they are in very poor shape. Cutting more funding is a very dangerous proposition. A strong military should be one of the main focal points of our government to make sure this country will always remain free and continue to be the greatest nation on Earth.
5. I believe that any law passed by Congress, no public servant should ever be exempt from including the president.
6. Special interest groups have way too much influence in government and this needs to be limited or stopped. I believe that all men are created equal and that no group or race should have more say or power in government anymore that anyone else. No group should be able to trample on someone else?s right to get their way.
7. There should also be a better alternative to health care in this country. The ACA was not well planned and because of it costs is causing employers to cut hours or downsize as a result. I believe this should be done on a state level without mandates forcing someone to pay for services they will never use.
8. I feel that taxing the job creators to death will not bring in more revenue but cause companies to downsize or outsource to other countries to keep from hurting their bottom line. Giving tax breaks to the job creators is a win-win situation for all. This will allow them to grow and create more jobs which translate to more taxpayers.
9. I believe our children are our future and a good education is a must. Education reform should be one of the top priorities we should deal with. More educational opportunities are a must. I believe there is room for both public and charter schools. Also, even though we want the best for our children, not everyone has the desire or the resources to go to college. That being said I think we need to bring back the industrial arts, home economics, and life skills programs back to our schools for those who wish to pursue these types of careers and help prepare them for life outside of their parent?s home.
Reason for Seeking Public Office:
For some time now, I have been disillusioned by our government and how this country is being run. I believe that if this country continues on its current path, there will be an economic collapse followed by a social collapse. This is being exacerbated by many people in office and much of the mainstream media fueling the fires of racism and further dividing the economic classes, there is a very limited middle class anymore. If good people who have the nation?s best interest in mind don?t get elected, I believe this collapse will happen very soon. A thought came to me that there are two ways to look at this, either prepare for the worst or do something about it. Shortly after that I decided to run for political office. Researching the potential positions up for election, I feel I have the best chance to run for U.S House of Representatives for Michigan?s? 5th Congressional District in 2014. My family and I have relocated to Davison, MI so I will live in the area I represent. I believe the Constitution was written by brilliant men and it means as much today as it did when it was written. I am also a strong supporter of people?s 2nd Amendment rights and feel every citizen has the right to self-preservation and protection by use of the weapons of the times.

1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-life
2. Other or expanded principles
- I believe live begins at conception and is protected under our constitution's 14th amendment.
1. In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
- No
2. In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
- No
3. Other or expanded principles
- Our tax system is too complicated and needs to be revised to make it more fair and eliminate corporate loopholes. Reducing the tax rate will bring in more revenue by keeping and creating more jobs in America. Getting more people working equals more taxpayers.
1. Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
- Yes
2. Other or expanded principles
- Why the majority of your campaign finances come from corporations, unions or special interest groups then your devotions will be to them and not your constituents.
1. Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
- Yes
2. Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?
- Yes
3. Do you support mandatory minimum sentences for non-violent drug offenders?
- No
4. Other or expanded principles
- States should decide the rules of incarceration and punishments especially when it comes to the death penalty. No drug user should be put in prison unless their drug use has caused harm to another person. Drug dealing is another matter because their crime does cause harm to another person. Our prisons should only be for violent and repeat offenders. Local jails should be used for short term incarceration only while awaiting trial or for those serving less than one year.
1. Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes
2. Do you support lowering taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes
3. Do you support providing tax incentives to businesses for the purpose of job creation?
- Yes
4. Other or expanded principles
- I do not believe in stimulus checks given to stimulate the economy. I do believe in stimulating the economy through allocating funds for educational reform. Providing job incentives and fair tax reform would also help. No direct funding to the general public.
1. Do you generally support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
- No
2. Other or expanded principles
- Educational needs vary and each area should determine their needs locally. There should be standards in education but the federal government should not be those setting them. There should be accountability with all funding but not based on curriculum.
1. Do you support building the Keystone XL pipeline?
- Yes
2. Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
- No
3. Do you support increased regulations on the hydraulic fracturing ("fracking") industry?
- No
4. Other or expanded principles
- When government fund projects they tend to not produce results as fast. It's best to let the free market develop renewable energy because it's their money on the line and they demand results. Fracking has been proven to be safe if the proper equipment and safety procedures are followed. This is not a new technology but the techniques used have become more efficient in the last decade or so.
1. Do you believe that human activity is contributing to climate change?
- No
2. Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
- No
3. Other or expanded principles
- The Earth goes through cycles of heat and cold which are more regulated by solar activity than anything else. There has been so much speculation about climate change and the majority of the science is based on computer models which are only as good as the information put into it. If that information is skewed then the results will be also.
1. Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
- No
2. Other or expanded principles
- We already have many laws on the books that are not being enforced. Over 99% of gun crimes are not committed by legal gun owners. We need mental health reform, tougher penalties for gun related crimes and elimination of gun free zones. The 2nd amendment was written for the citizens just like all the other amendments and should not be infringed for law abiding citizens. Gun are not the problem, they are an inanimate tool. The real problem is the evil in men's heart.
1. Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
- Yes
2. Other or expanded principles
- Repealed and replaced. This law was poorly written and strong-arm enforced. It may have helped a few but has caused much more hardships for most others. There are better ideas out there but we need to drop the partisan politics and work together on a proper solution.
1. Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
- Yes
2. Other or expanded principles
- To think otherwise is a slap in the face for those who came here legally. If you want to live in the greatest country on Earth, do it properly. In today's time we can't be too careful and those who want to live here need to be properly vetted.
1. Do you support same-sex marriage?
- No
2. Other or expanded principles
- Government should not even be involved in the marriage bed. The 10th amendment is clear when it says that if it's not covered in the constitution then it's up to the states to decide. The majority of states voted that it should be between one man and one woman and the federal government should respect that.
1. Do you support increased American intervention in Iraq and Syria beyond air support?
- Yes
2. Should the U.S use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the United States from possessing a nuclear weapon?
- Yes
3. Other or expanded principles
- In Iraq and Syria, I support working in collaboration with local organizations to address terrorism.Governments that have been know to be a threat to America or the rest of the world or those who support terrorism cannot be trusted and it should be a concern to the rest of the civilized world as well. No hostile country should possess nuclear weapon technology.
1. Do you support allowing individuals to divert a portion of their Social Security taxes into personal retirement accounts?
- Yes
2. Other or expanded principles
- People should be allowed to protect their retirement as they see fit.

11. Payroll taxes

12. Other or expanded categories
- A fair tax system should be the priority of the next administration. With lower across the board taxes more people will be working and thus paying into the system instead of depending on it to support them.
Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- My specific area has been hit hard by lost jobs that are not retuning. We need to change the demographics of this area by the use of educational reform. We need to bring back skilled trade schools so that our children who don't have the means or desire to go to college can at least get a skill to get them started in the workforce with a greater than minimum wage job. This will have a domino effect with crime reduction, increased population growth and increased taxpayer base. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime.
